Demolished half of existing building and built a new 90,000 sq ft pad built on the site of the existing store and into the parking lot. Two levels were constructed to accommodate Famous-Barr's needs to expand on the existing building. Site work included marble murals at entrances and stainless steel canopies.An impressive fact to be noted: Although 1996 was the coldest winter on record for Evansville, and the 1996 spring had record breaking amounts of rainfall, ARC still managed to complete the project 1 month ahead of schedule.
